Information or Messages are not consistent between the App and the Website

If you are having issues with the Couchsurfing app not displaying consistent information between the App and site, we recommend that you delete the app from your mobile device and download the latest version from the app store. This version should sync up with the current information on the site.

For example, you may see one message on the app that you don't see on the website or you have a reference on your profile on the site that is not on the app. These types of issues should be solved by removing and reinstalling the app. 

You may also want to try to "pull to refresh" on the page you are viewing, or navigate away from the page and then back to it, to see if the messages or profile content will sync up. Sometimes it can take a few minutes to sync.
