What makes a good Ambassador? Ambassadors show their love of Couchsurfing in a variety of ways. Most often you'll see them planning and attending local meet-ups, like weekly meetings or annual Couch Crashes. They are often active hosts in their communities, showing travelers the coolest local spots and sharing a little piece of their lives. They will also pop up in groups and discussions offering advice and guidance to surfers heading to their cities.
How can I get more involved with Couchsurfing? There are many ways for you to become an active member of the Couchsurfing community, and your local Ambassador is here to help you! Check out the events section to see if there are any local events you might want to attend. Don't find something that interests you? Plan your own! You can create your own local event to meet your local community and travelers. Another way to get involved is to begin hosting! Your Ambassador is a great resource to help you get your profile set up and start welcoming surfers, become a surfer yourself or plan and attend events!
