If someone's behavior has made you uncomfortable or crossed a line, we want to hear about it. You are not overreacting, and you are not wasting anyone's time. All reports are confidential and reviewed by our Trust and Safety team.
Reporting From a Member's Profile
The quickest way to report someone is directly from their profile.
On mobile:
- Go to the member's profile
- Tap the more options icon (three dots) in the upper right corner
- Tap Report User
- Follow the onscreen steps to complete your report
On the web:
- Go to the member's profile
- Click More in the top right corner
- Click Report User
- Follow the onscreen steps to complete your report
Once submitted, you'll see a confirmation that your report was received. You'll also have the option to block the member or get additional support from there.
Reporting a Chat or Message
You can report an individual message or an entire conversation from within your chat.
On mobile:
- Open the chat
- To report a message: tap and hold the message, then tap Report
- To report the full chat: tap the more options icon (three dots) and tap Report Chat
On the web:
- Open the chat
- To report a message: hover over it and click the more options icon, then click Report
- To report the full chat: click the more options icon (three dots) and click Report Chat
Reporting From the Feed
Posts, events, and members can also be reported directly from the Feed.
For Serious Safety Concerns
If your concern is urgent or involves a safety issue, you can reach our Trust and Safety team directly. They're available 24/7.
On mobile:
- Tap Library
in the bottom navigation bar
- Tap Settings
- Tap Trust and Safety
On the web:
- Click your profile
in the left navigation bar
- Click Settings
in the upper right corner
- Click Trust and Safety
If you are in immediate danger, use Call Local Authorities in Safety Tools (mobile) or contact emergency services directly. Do not wait to submit a report.
A Couple Things to Know:
- Reporting a member does not automatically block them. If you want to prevent them from contacting you, block them from their profile. You'll also have the option to block after submitting your report.
- Submitting a report does not automatically remove content or restrict the reported member. Every report is reviewed individually by a real person.
