Couchsurfing speaks your language. Literally. Head to your account settings to switch things up in just a few taps.
If the app language isn't matching what you'd like, you can update it directly from your phone's system settings. Most apps automatically follow your device's system language, but if you'd like Couchsurfing to use a different one, here's how to set it.
On Android:
Couchsurfing uses your default device language. If you want to change the language to one of the supported languages, please change your device language, and this will reflect the change on the app.
On iOS:
- Open your device Settings app
- Tap Apps
- Find and tap Couchsurfing
- Tap Language
- Select your preferred language and confirm the change
How to Change Your Language On Your PC:
On the web:
- Click your profile
in the left navigation bar
- Click Settings
in the upper right corner
- Click Language under Account Information
- Select your preferred language from the list
Supported Languages
Couchsurfing is currently available in the following languages:
- English (US)
- Deutsch (DE)
- Français (FR)
- Español (ES)
- Italiano (IT)
- Português (PT)
- Polski (PL)
- Русский (RU)
- 中文 (CN)
One Thing to Know: You can also select Use system settings to have Couchsurfing automatically match the language set on your device.
